Real Estate Website — SEO-First Design & Development
Design, development and SEO, built by one team, for a Bali property agency selling to international buyers. Most real estate sites lose organic traffic the moment a visitor filters: their catalogues spit out messy parameter URLs search engines ignore. We built the opposite — every meaningful filter is a clean, indexable page with its own meta tags, mapped from real search demand before the first screen was designed.

Horizon Estate needed a website to sell and rent premium property in Bali to an international audience. The challenge was twofold: the site had to feel as refined as the properties it presents and, just as importantly, attract buyers organically from search. Most real estate sites fail on the second point: their property filters generate messy, parameter-based URLs with no meta tags, pages search engines either ignore or index poorly. We set out to build the opposite: a site where every meaningful filter is a fully optimised, indexable page from day one.
International buyers and investors looking for property in Bali (villas, apartments, land) for personal use or rental income.
(001) Foreign nationals with the budget to buy or invest abroad, researching from outside Indonesia. (002) Investors focused on rental yield, comparing districts and returns. (003) Buyers who need confidence in the legal side of owning property as a foreigner, and a design-conscious audience that expects a clean, premium, trustworthy experience.
We delivered design, development and SEO as one process, not as separate stages handed between contractors.
SEO-first architecture. Every filter (by area, property type, price range, buy or rent) is a dedicated page with a clean, human-readable URL (e.g. /buy/areas-canggu/, /buy/type-villas/), its own meta tags, built to rank for the exact searches buyers use.
Keyword-driven structure. Before design began, we researched how international buyers actually search for Bali property, and shaped the site’s structure and filters around those queries.
A refined, minimalist design that puts the properties first and reflects the premium nature of the listings.
A buyer-focused experience. Multi-currency pricing, date-based availability filters for rentals, saved favourites, and clear inquiry forms, built around how an overseas buyer makes a decision.
Trust built in. An expert FAQ covering ownership law, leasehold and investment returns, answering real buyer concerns and capturing informational search traffic at the same time.
Technical SEO from launch. Clean code, fast load times, search-engine verification and a proper indexable structure, so the site was ready to perform the moment it went live.
The first screen sets the tone: a refined, minimalist entry point that puts the properties first, with search, curated areas and featured listings — every one of them a real, indexable page rather than a parameter-based dead end.

Status, type, area, price, bedrooms and property tags — ocean view, pool, off-plan, Balinese and more. Each meaningful filter resolves to a clean, human-readable URL with its own meta tags, so the catalogue opens dozens of entry points from organic search.

Run a filter and you land on a real page — “Villas for Sale in Bali” — with its own URL, meta tags and H1, a grid of listings and cross-links to related filters (leasehold, freehold, ocean view, by area). Dozens of these become organic entry points instead of parameter-based URLs search engines ignore.

Clean, human-readable URLs, its own meta tags, multi-currency pricing, freehold/leasehold detail and clear property specs. Every listing is both a refined buyer experience and a page built to rank for the exact search a buyer types.

Most buyers research from another country, on a phone. Date-based availability for rentals, saved favourites and clear inquiry forms. The flow is built around how someone buys property they can’t yet walk through.

A buyer comparing districts and returns over weeks needs to come back to what they shortlisted, so saved favourites keep the decision moving between sessions.

The catalogue on tablet: every meaningful filter (area, property type, price, buy or rent) is a real, indexable landing page, giving the site dozens of entry points from organic search.

What was decided before the first screen was designed.
On most real estate sites, filtering generates parameter-based URLs (?type=villa&area=canggu) that search engines ignore. Here, every meaningful filter is a real page instead — so the catalogue becomes dozens of organic entry points rather than a dead end.
